Registration Day changes January 20-21

U3A WARWICK REGISTRATION DAY ARRANGEMENTS

As a safeguard against the fast-spreading Omicron variant, we have new arrangements for our annual Registration Day, which was to have been held on Friday January 21 at the Warwick RSL.

Members will have three options to register and renew their subscriptions as follows:

1.Members can contact course convenors via phone or email to register for courses.

  1. Membership applications will be accepted over two days (January 20 and 21 between 10am & 3pm) at the Rooms in Tooth St. This would allow us to limit the number of people in the room, ensure good ventilation, and maintain social distancing. Members must check in using the Queensland Health App and wear a mask.

3. People can also post their application forms as usual. Or you can fill in the form, scan it and email to the secretary.

The committee apologises for the last-minute change (timed for the January newsletter deadline). We may find in time that we have over-reacted, but we don’t think so. It is not in the best interests of our members to be mingling in large numbers at this time.
