Mah-Jong

U3A Room 1 on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 9.30am

Convenor: Carol Domjahn 0421 979 853

Mahjong is an old Chinese game of tiles that we  play in a much more relaxed, slower, social way than the ancient culture played it. It requires 3 or 4 players each table and as you play independent of each other there is no stress to perform so as not to let down your partner – like there is in some card games. The group is open to men and women but mostly women play in our group. There is no cost to play each week and mahjong sets are supplied – with summary sheets of instructions provided.

We play on the second and fourth Wednesday mornings of the month, through the school terms – starting at 9:30am at the U3A rooms in Tooth St. Carol is looking for new players. Beginners welcome.
